This policy explains what basant-club.org collects, why, and what we do not collect. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
1. Who we are
basant-club.org is an independent information website about the Basant Club game and similar mobile applications in Pakistan. We are not the app developer, not a payment processor and not affiliated with any government body. You can reach us through our contact page or at support@basant-club.org.
2. Information you give us
The only form on this site is the contact form. When you use it we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type. We use that information solely to reply to you and to correct our content. We do not sell it, rent it or add it to a marketing list.
3. Information collected automatically
Like nearly all websites, our hosting server writes standard access logs: IP address, browser type, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting. We may also use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which guides are read, in aggregate only.
4. Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not build advertising profiles. Any cookie present is either strictly necessary for the site to work or set by an analytics tool in aggregate form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still function.
5. Third party links
Our pages link to the Basant Club platform and occasionally to other external resources. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else’s website, governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over what they collect. Please read their terms before entering any personal or payment information.
6. Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links are referral links. If you register through one, we may earn a commission from the platform at no additional cost to you. The commission does not change our editorial content, and our risk warnings are deliberately published alongside those links.
7. Data retention
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and are then deleted. Server logs rotate on our host’s standard schedule.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we apply standard hardening at the server level. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive information — passwords, OTP codes, CNIC images or bank details — through our contact form. We never need them.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, write to us and we will delete the record.
10. Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@basant-club.org with the subject “Privacy request” and we will respond within a reasonable period.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be summarised in the first paragraph so returning readers can see what moved.
Conclusion
In short: we collect very little, we keep it briefly, we do not sell it, and we would rather you sent us less than more. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain language.
